Heaven Sent Fried Chicken

Okay I had to come back to this one. I initially visited this place because of the whole Oprah flying it over deal. I was hyped, but also super full from our trip, and the whole thing felt way too greasy. I ate a piece, called it over hyped but decided to pack it up for later. Best decision I made that day. I got home, and about 24 hours later I gave it another go. It was the most fulfilling bite of fried chicken I had in years! I think either I was just too full the first time or maybe reheating it brought something out... But damn good chicken. Will definitely go back the next time I visit.

First time trying this place. Loved the spicy fried chicken strips and the rolls are to-die-for. Not only was the food great but the woman taking my order was so kind and friendly, it made my day!

I hope I don't get banished from Ezell's but I think Heaven Sent is a little better. The chicken was perfect, tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The mashed potatoes were delicious. And the rolls! Best I've ever had.

If you want fried chicken you can't go wrong with Heaven Sent.

I love the service here. The woman who works the counter remembered the last order I placed and asks how you are doing. The chicken strips are crispy and juicy and delicious. Mac and cheese is top rate. Weekly stop on my list for comfort food.
