Masjid Al-Nur is the center of religious, educational and social activities for the Muslim community in Olympia, capital of Washington State, located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. During the early part of ’80s members of Cham Muslim community from Cambodia relocated here and established a temporary structure that has served well beyond its time and capacity. The Cham community donated a 2-acre piece of prime real estate to build a more permanent Islamic Center to serve the growing needs of the greater Olympia area and vicinity. During the past few years, the community has attracted Muslims from many other ethnic groups including a growing number of new Muslims. This rapidly growing community now has an urgent need for a larger, more permanent facility, which is currently under construction.
Alhumduillah beautiful mosque here in Washington State. Went here for eid prayer couldn't be any happier.
Beautiful Masjid. Beautiful people. A nice Melting pot. However, they need to do something about the AC or fans. It was extremely stuffy and hot. Which made the stay in the masjid during khutbah unbearable...
Great mosque with a family friendly imam. Their is a playground outside for the children. Place is very clean and maintained and a relief to have nearby especially during Ramadan for all the potlucks
Good place to learn about Islam and ask questions
Been there for annual night market this year. It was really great experience. Loved all Asian halal food. Masjid was beautiful. Event was organized really well.
Very welcoming community and beautiful masjid
